Global Benefits Group/TieCare International maintains a Worldwide Provider Network for the ease and convenience of our clients in accessing quality health care around the world.

CHOOSING A PROVIDER (DOCTOR OR HOSPITAL) IN NORTH AMERICA

Developed in cooperation with Care Management Network, CMN, GBG/Tiecare offers a comprehensive United States and Canadian network of physicians and medical facilities that have agreed to pricing discounts. These discounts mean lower out of pocket costs for our members while at the same time allowing us to control the premium costs being paid by our customers.

Most of our members have policies that offer incentives for utilization of our Preferred Providers. If an out of network provider is utilized, it results in the highest cost to the member. Reasonable and Customary as well as other fee limitations apply to these providers. As such, members should first search for and select a Preferred Provider whenever possible.

In the event you are unable to locate a Provider close to you, please contact us within North America at 1-866-914-5333 or call collect at 1-905-669-4920 or email us at:  gbgassist@gbgi.net

Choosing an International (Hospital) Provider

GBG/TieCare International also has multiple direct-bill arrangements in every major city of the world.  While we have established good relations with these providers, and they have been known to direct bill us on an individual basis in the past, we do not maintain contracts to do so with every one of them.  Therefore, please make sure you contact the provider you plan to use in advance to confirm they will provide direct billing for your services.  To request that a Provider not on this list direct bill your claim, you may fill out a Direct Billing Request Form from the Forms link and submit it to directbill@claimssite.com

Remember that Pre Authorization is required for certain treatments. The procedures are spelled out in your policy and both the policy and your ID card include the numbers to call for preauthorization.
